Non Endemic Plants

Helianthemum croceum

Aiming to determine how endemism influences pollination and reproductive success we select pairs of endemic and non-endemic co-flowering species, controlling for phylogenetic differences as much as possible. In this regard, comparisons within genus would be most ideal, but this was frequently impractical because endemic and non-endemic species of the same genus did not coexist.
